Using the app

- Do I need the app to use the pendant?
- Yes. The pendant records and stores audio, but transcription, summaries and search all live in the app, and that is where recordings sync to.
- Does it cost anything?
- No. The app is included with your pendant — there is no separate subscription and no per-minute transcription charge.
- Which devices does it run on?
- iOS 15 and later, and Android 9 and later. Bluetooth Low Energy is required, which every phone from the last decade has.
- Can I use it without a pendant?
- Yes. Phone-microphone mode records straight from the handset, and you can import audio files you already have.
- Does it drain my phone battery?
- Syncing is short and infrequent — the pendant stores audio locally and transfers it in bursts rather than streaming continuously.
- What happens if I change phone?
- Sign in on the new device and everything is there. Recordings live in your account, not on the handset. You will need to pair the pendant again.
- Is there a desktop or web version?
- Not yet. It is on the roadmap; today the app is the place to read and search your memory.
