How do I pair my deHertz pendant?
Open the deHertz mobile app on iOS or Android, navigate to the Home tab, and tap 'Pair Device'. Ensure your pendant is powered on and near your phone. The app will automatically detect and pair the device via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
How long does the battery last on the pendant?
The deHertz pendant delivers up to 18 hours of continuous audio recording on a single charge and 7+ days in standby. It charges quickly via USB-C or the magnetic charging dock (0 to 100% in 45 minutes).
Can I record without the physical pendant?
Yes! The mobile app includes a built-in Phone Microphone mode and an Audio File Import feature. You can record impromptu conversations or upload existing voice notes directly into your deHertz memory.
AI Intelligence & Features
How fast are transcripts and summaries generated?
Once a recording finishes syncing, local Whisper transcription begins immediately. Most 1-hour conversations are fully transcribed, summarized, and extracted into actionable items within 60 to 90 seconds.
What languages does deHertz support?
deHertz supports 15 languages including English, Arabic, Hindi, Urdu, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Italian, and Tagalog. You can set your native and target languages in your Profile.
How do scheduled reminders work?
When you mention a future commitment (e.g. 'I will send the contract on Thursday at 3 PM'), deHertz's AI extracts the timestamp and automatically schedules a high-priority push notification to your phone.
Privacy, Sync & Integrations
Are my recordings private and secure?
Absolutely. Audio files are encrypted in transit and at rest using AES-256 in Azure cloud storage. deHertz never sells your data or uses your audio/transcripts to train public AI models.
How does Google Calendar and Drive sync work?
In Settings, you can connect your Google account with 1-click. Meetings detected in your conversations sync straight to your Google Calendar, and raw audio files back up automatically to your Google Drive.
